We are pleased to announce the addition of two new progression degrees at the University of Aberdeen International Study Centre (ISC) from the Pre-Masters Programme in Science and Engineering.
Students undertaking this pathway at the ISC will now have the option of progressing to the below Chemistry related Masters’ degrees:
- Analytical Chemistry MSc
- Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemistry MSc
Students who wish to progress on to the above degrees will study two new Chemistry-focused modules during their pathway programme:
- Laboratory Skills and Scientific Communication – This module focuses on health and safety in the lab, undertaking theoretical and practical work in a laboratory, as well as producing research reports and posters.
- Research Methods in Chemistry – This module introduces students the scientific method, qualitative and quantitative research, the variables within research, sampling, as well as how to present their findings.
