Waikato Pathways College, which delivers university preparation and English language programmes for the University of Waikato, is being renamed.
The new name, University of Waikato College – Te Kura Huanui, shows that the College is an integral part of the University, providing opportunities for international students to progress to a wide range of degree programmes at the University of Waikato.
As well as offering foundation and English language programmes, the College has recently launched an International Diploma in Business and a new Diploma in Postgraduate Preparation, a Pre-Masters programme which helps ensure students gain the skills to succeed in postgraduate study. An International Diploma in Computer Science will also be available from March 2022.
Programmes available for international students at the University of Waikato College – Te Kura Huanui – include:
- Certificate of Attainment in Foundation Studies
- International Diploma in Business (intakes in March and November 2021)
- International Diploma in Computer Science (first intake in March 2022)
- Diploma in Postgraduate Preparation – Pre-Masters (first intake in November 2021)
- Certificate of Attainment in English Language
- General English
- International Study Groups (currently offered virtually due to restrictions on international travel)
