At the beginning of the year all UK university and college campuses were closed for face to face teaching due to government lockdown restrictions and we recommended that all our students, where possible, studied virtually from home during this period.
UK Universities and International Study Centres and Colleges are still not yet able to open for face-to-face teaching, and a decision on when they can reopen is expected to be made by the government in the near future.
We are optimistic that we will be able to recommence some face-to-face teaching at our Study Centres and Colleges shortly after the Easter break for the vast majority of courses, and will be in contact with further details about this once the government has made further announcements.
We would like to remind you that for the remainder of this academic year, students will continue to have the flexibility to decide how they wish to continue their studies with us. They can:
• Choose to come to the UK when they feel ready, or:
• Continue studying virtually from home for the remainder of their course.
If students choose to study virtually from home for the rest of their course
We would like to assure you that if students choose to study online for the whole of this academic year, the universities that we work with will recognize virtual-only study and assessment for progression to the 2021/22 academic year due to the exceptional circumstances related to COVID-19.
If students choose to travel to the UK to finish their course
If students decide to study with us in the UK, they will need to ensure that they have a visa and are able to travel in good time to prepare for upcoming examinations.
At this time, where all the required conditions have been met and payments have been made, we are continuing to issue all students with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) in the majority of our courses and locations in the UK. However, in order to allow sufficient time for students to arrive in the UK, we will stop issuing CAS on the ‘standard CAS request deadline date’ in the table below. Exceptions to this standard date may be possible if a fast track visa application service is available in that location, further details can be obtained by our Admissions team on a case by case basis. If students have not received their CAS prior to this date, it is recommended that they complete the remainder of their course virtually from home.
