University of Sheffield International College now offers progression to study two more postgraduate degrees at the University.
Along with the already offered MA Digital Media and Society which has limited places, students now have the alternative option of progressing to:
- MA Cultural Data Management and Communication provides a grounding in digital and computational approaches to cultural data. Students on this course will gain transferable skills needed for a career in the information, media and communication sectors plus many more.
- MA Digital Culture and Communication explores the ways in which digital technologies are transforming human experience and the use of cultural data. Students will gain similar transferable skills as the above degree needed for a career in the information, media and communication sectors, the creative industries, and the cultural heritage sector.
Students studying these degrees will benefit from over 25 years of expertise and an international reputation in digital culture at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities’ Digital Humanities Institute, the UK’s leading centre for the development, analysis and communication of digital culture and digital humanities.
Approximately 50% of all Digital Humanities Institute projects are led by academic or cultural institutions outside the University of Sheffield, with partners including BBC, British Film Institute, Carillion and The National Archives.
From March 2021 and onwards, these degrees are available from our Pre-Masters in Business, Social Sciences and Humanities for progression to the University in September 2021 and onwards.
