The University of Aberdeen and the University of Aberdeen International Study Centre are pleased to announce a further strengthening of our partnership, with a new combined visa for students joining the International Year Two or Pre-Masters programmes in 2021.
The combined visa will allow students to save time, money, and experience a seamless transition into degree study by studying their pathway course and the remainder of their degree with one visa. On top of that, students will benefit from:
- Alternatives to Academic IELTS for UKVI to join the International Year Two or Pre-Masters programmes at University of Aberdeen International Study Centre, including Duolingo, Indian XII Standard and Pearson
- Students can work for up to 20 hours per week while in the UK, so they can enhance their CV and graduate prospects during their studies
- No need for additional IELTS tests before joining their undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
- There is no need to return home to apply for a new visa between their International Study Centre programme and chosen degree at the University of Aberdeen
- They will have the opportunity to travel and explore the UK between courses
The combined visa is also perfect for students who have exceeded their two years of pre-degree study in the UK.
